James Bond Wears Omega Watch In 007: Blood Stone Video Game
While this is not exactly a surprise, it is pretty neat. James Bond has been wearing an Omega watch for a long time (since maybe 1995). The brand was able to usurp Rolex - as was the watch chosen by Ian Flemming originally. In the upcoming James Bond 007: Blood Stone video game, the digitized version of the Daniel Craig will wear a prominent Omega Seamaster Professional Ref. 22005000 watch. It is part of the Planet Ocean collection and has a retail price of $3,950. I believe that this is the same watch he wore in one of the recent movies. Perhaps Quantum of Solace. The watch is a good look for Band (and anyone really), and is thankfully not one of the branded limited edition models made for the fact that 007 wears an Omega. The Seamsater Pro is a 45.5mm wide model and funny enough looks smaller on the digital character's wrist than it should given the size of the case. Unless I missed something and Daniel Craig has massive wrists. So imagine you have never seen the watch, play the game,
AP 15400 + another AP Diver?
Recently acquired 15400 black dial (a week ago) ...and considering additional acquisition of AP Diver rubber strap (anytime soon)...Am I too AP-Maniac? Would they both be too similar? ( given same dial color and oh well, simple mechanic)... second thought told me to get the old Safari but my wrist is only 6.4Please help me decide... thank you!
Seamaster thoughts
As you may know, I recently sent off my favourite speedmaster pro for a service, and I've been left with my seamaster as a daily wearer. It's the first time in a while I've just worn one watch. And I'm impressed I've worn it for just over a month, which included gym sessions, swimming, running, moving twice (business and home!) and pretty everything else I threw at it.... including a few collisions with doors And it still looks and feels great.I'm happy with the accuracy too, just over 30sec fast since I set it over a month ago. Now, I must admit.... I still prefer the looks of the speedy, and the fact that it wears a bit bigger is a big plus (no guesses what my next watch will be ) However, the bracelet on this one is solid as a rock. Apart from the clasp, which is somewhat of a scratch magnet, it wears great, is comfortable and never too heavy. So, overall, very happy! If anyone is considering one of these, go for it.
Anyone wearing a PP to start the weekend?
Enjoyed the Aquanaut today...Off to work saturday...I will be flying all over Southeast asia tomorrow for the next five days... So I have decided to take with me a few watches. I will have a chance to have a small GTG Sri Lanka. Looking forward to it...I'll be taking the following watches...
422!
Hello. I have a chance to pick up a new panerai for my 30th birthday. I was going to pull the trigger on a new 510, but my AD just took in a trade on a pam00422, and I can grab it for the same cost as the 510. 422 is complete with triple box( inner black box a bit banged up) and war entry dated 4/14What would you do?I'm 6ft 2in, and a 7.75in wrist, so 47mm should be ok. I like the 8 day power reserve, but I like the 1950s case. Any advise would be good.
