Thomas Morf is Hanhart’s New CEO
Effective October 1, former Carl F. Bucherer CEO Thomas Morf took charge of the watch brand Hanhart, which is based in Diessenhofen, Switzerland, and in G��tenbach, in the German Black Forest. Morf server as CEO at Carl F. Bucherer until May, 2010. The brand also announced that the Gaydoul Group is now the majority shareholder of parent company Hanhart Group AG. The most important minority shareholder stays the Matter Group AG and the Astraia Holding AG. Klaus Eble remains Managing Director of the production site A. Hanhart GmbH & Co. KG, G��tenbach.Hanhart was established by Johann Adolf Hanhart in Diessenhofen, Germany in 1882. The brand is known for chronographs. It manufactured the pilot's chronograph Calibre 40 from 1938, a piece that is still highly sought-after by collectors today.At Baselworld 2009, Hanhart presented a new collection of mechanical chronographs under the name Primus. My Experience w/ Rolex Canada RSC
Hi all,I recently got my Oyster Perpetual 39 (114300) back from RSC Toronto and wanted to share the experience for those who might be interested, and for future reference.I purchased the watch locally, pre owned from the original owner. It came with box, warranty card, hang tags, booklets and original bill of sale. It was just shy of one year old at that point.I decided that I wanted to get it insured, and was in need of an appraisal. I stopped by the Rolex Boutique Square One, who referred me to Rolex Canada.I called Rolex Canada and asked about the process of getting an appraisal. They asked if I had the warranty card stamped, dated and in my name, and if I had the bill of sale. I then explained that I purchased it pre owned and I do have everything although the warranty card has no name and the bill of sale is in the name of the original owner. The representative said the unnamed warranty card is fine, and they see it from time to time. She explained that I need to bring in the wat
