Nautica NMX 1000 Solar Quartz Dive Watch
Summer may be over for all intents and purposes, but Nautica is looking to extend that season a little bit for you with their latest watch, the cryptically named NMX 1000. ?Name aside, this is a watch that will get attention, and looks to be a snap to read (not to mention measuring something via the bezel).When I first laid eyes on the images of this piece, I couldn't decide if someone shrunk the dial, or made a massive bezel. Given that the case is 48mm, I'm going to go with the massive bezel. Frankly, the smaller dial wouldn't even make sense, even if you ignore the style-related reasons. Why?Well, that's because the NMX 1000 is actually a solar powered watch (think Citizen Eco-Drive style, though we aren't sure where Nautica sourced its movements), with the solar cells tucked away under the aforementioned dial. 5524 & 5522 Strap Ideas
I currently have the strap seen below on my 5524. My 5522 is delayed but coming I am told (needs to have my name on docs, and I was added late). Any suggestions for a cool strap that contrasts what I have or leave it original? Thanks!

Panerai I've never seen before
I recently saw one of my physicians wearing, what looks to be a panerai (pam312). But, it was a white dial and had a date magnifier. Any clue what it is???

Evening TRF,I've read on this forum that many of you expect the price of the SS Rolex models to increase in 2018. As many of you here are veteran Rolex buyers, where do you think the prices will go next year, especially the Sky Dweller and Ceramic Daytona? I note that the MSRP for the Sky Dweller is $14,400, Daytona $12,400, Sub date $8,550, and Hulk, $9050, to name a few popular models (note: I had to double check that Daytona price. Amazing.). What's normal for Rolex year to year? 5%? 10%?Best,TA
