Watch Experts Network: ‘TAG Heuer CARRERA Calibre 6 – watch review by ESCAPEMENT’
The right calibreAngus Davies provides a hands-on' review of the TAG Heuer CARRERA Calibre 6. This watch features retro-styling, but is very applicable to modern life with its simple to interpret dial and convenient self-winding movement. These are anxious times, as any concerned parent will attest. Children throughout the United Kingdom are in the middle of taking important examinations which, on the face of it, could shape their lives forever. My babies' are 16 and 18 years of age, a darling boy and a beautiful girl. I can't help but reveal my love for them, sometimes to their embarrassment. However, as parents we accept that our precious offspring have to enter a potentially harmful psychological phase in their lives. My son is taking his GCSEs' and my daughter is in the midst of doing her A-levels'.Ultimately, years of studying convene at this point in time. This is the moment your child has to distill all the knowledge they have acquired and demonstrate a degree of understanding
Royal Oak Extra Thin 39mm
I see a lot of talk about the new royal oak 15400, the discontinued 15300 and the sought after 15202. However I dont see any thread talking about the Royal Oak extra thin 39mm 40th anniversary. Is this a extremely exclusive edition? or just nobody cares about it? it comes with a different rotor (its not the same as the 15202 nor 15300) and it comes only in blue dial color. What's up with this model? it looks exactly as the 1972 model and it is gorgeous.Heres a pic from AP website .audemarspiguet/en/wat...T.OO.1240ST.01Thanks a lot guys for enlighten me.Oh, and it has the AP logo at 6 o clock and two batons at 12
What do you think ??
Just picked this up yesterday. Made a few phone calls and found one just delivered to AD day before. Was told this is not an easy piece to come by these days. AD also gave me an extra discount which never hurts. Overnighted and delivered today.
How 3 became 1
This is my first post in the PP discussion forum. Until very recently I had a humble little 3 watch collection of vintage rolexes (1016, 5513 and 1680). By chance I was talking with a dealer i'd dealt with and asked him to keep me in mind if he had any nice vintage pieces coming in. Anything else he asked? No nothing, unless of course you happen to get in my holy grail watch. What's that he said? A Nautilus I replied, but quickly followed that up with I know how rare they are particularly on the 2nd hand market.Much to my surprise he sent me back a photo of a 5711. He said he had been holding onto it for 9 months as he didn't want to sell it to just anyone - but someone who would appreciate it for what it is. Turns out, I was the 1st person since then who had asked if he had one. I cannot explain why he would not have not put it on his site earlier. All I can say is I am extremely glad he didn't.In the days of collections growing I guess I am going against the grain with my all eggs in
