Frdrique Constant Maxime: Affordably In-House
Five years ago, Frdrique Constant joined the circle of Swiss brands that develop and produce their movements in-house. For 2009, Frdrique Constant introduces its Maxime Manufacture Automatic featuring the all-new, in-house manufactured FC-700 automatic caliber. Outside, the 42mm diameter case offers polished and matte surfaces. A sapphire crystal covers a silver guilloch dial. Priced at only $2550 in steel or $3550 in steel/rose gold plate, the Maxime offers classic good looks and excellent value for a Swiss-made watch with a manufacture movement. The Maxime is available at retailers now. For more information, visit frederique-constant. Click the images below to view larger versions.

First Rolex - Insurance?
Finally pulled the trigger and couldn't be happier with my new DJ 126333 w/ silver dial. It's exactly what I wanted for a M-F watch.I'm curious how many folks got insurance on their watches? i.e. homeowners add-on insurance for jewelry. Or strongly recommended?
