AP suggestions in Sydney
Hi Gentlemen,Since our mighty dollar has fallen so much against the USD which rules out purchasing from USA, my AP itch is starting to crawl back (at the wrong time) What is a reasonable discount for Australian ADs to give for a SS novelty or even SS RO chrono 41mm? Im not limited to sydney as i often travel for work.Any input will be appreciated, feel free to pm if you want to protect the ADs name. Thanks,James
Breitling PM watches
are the Breitling PM watches specifically the transocean made of solid gold?I assume that they are to justify the price but I wanted to check I didnt find much on google. I think they call there mix of gold rose gold vs rolex everrose branding. how about the 2 tone bracelets are they solid gold links?any comments on the durability?
My new 372 - with mandatory wrist shot ;)
It's been a while between posts here, and new watches (life got in the way ;)) - missed this great place!I'm back with a much needed new addition to the family that I picked up this week - my new friend the 372.I debated long and hard between this and the 312 - despite the fact I loved the 372, I was worried it may be too big on my wrist, but in the end I went with my gut and I think it worked out ok ;)I'm loving it's simple dial, domed plexiglass and retro looks. No doubt she's big, but I think somehow low profile (relatively speaking!), and very comfortable.Hope you enjoy my pics
If you had to pick 3
I just got into watches in the last few years and got my first Rolex last Christmas, GMT II Coke. I love the watch and wear it every day. From a financial perspective it represents a significant decision conversation, but not a stress on our finances if i keep it to one watch a year. My wife is now suggesting I get two more Rolexes before adding other off brand pieces as she would like me to hold a Rolex a piece for each of my 3 young sons. The idea being they would be given as gifts at a significant yet to be chosen milestone. If left to my own accord I would probably branch out of Rolex for my next few pieces but the wife has a thing in her head about them all being RolexI can live with that. Given the charge to find 2 more watches that I can use for the next 20 years and also hand down to the next generation, what would you suggest? I really love the sport watches, but I don't see anything I like more than my current GMT. My current thinking is to add a traditional 2tone D
