Watches NEWS
Please share some wrist shot of your Royal Oak Offshore Tour Auto 2012 Chronograph.
I'm kind of new to AP watches, and I've been thinking of purchasing one in near future. So far, I'm so impressed with the ROO Tour Auto 2012 Chronograph. In overall it looks so different then other APs, especially the dial (white color tapestry model with red hands and blue markers) and also its blue color rubber with red stitching. What do you guys think of this beauty? Who in here already have it? Any comment and wrist shot will be appreciated. Thanks.-Leo-
1990's Chronomat Sourcing help!
Can anyone recommend a reputable source for early 1990's Chronomat,s ? There seems to be a few on eBay in the 1200-1400 range but I'm not good with spotting replicas and fakes so I try to stay away from eBay. Any help would be great
Just got my first Omega
After all these years, I just got my first Omega I've been searching for the 45th anniversary moon watch for a while ever since I saw one at an AD.. and finally pull the trigger. (Thanks Henry Erlich, aka HankE from TZ)Its used, but LNIBthe pics below shows it with leather strap rather than the oem Nato (which I also have)This watch is absolutely gorgeous. (Especially the way the light reflects off the hour markers and the way the dial changes color in a subtle way.) Its hard to capture the beauty in pics.-Compared to my Rolexes, its light (titanium). -Its also lacking the date, but I will get used to it. -I also have to get in the habit of winding this daily since its not automatic.-The lume is better than my DJII, particularly the hour & minute hand lume.
James Cameron dilemma
Call me crazy but I got into the Rolex world a little over a month ago and now I have SUBCDJ41 Blue dial jubilee braceletBLNRSUB LVc (to be delivered tomorrow)All bought newMy question is would it be crazy to add a James Cameron to the collection? I passed a great deal a couple of weeks ago for $11,130 because it wore too big (I have a big wrist 7.75) I don't buy watches for investment but don't want to lose money on those watches on the long run either so if I buy the JC for around 11k new from AD, would I lose money on it a year later if I didn't like it and decided to sell it?Thank you
The Nato Challenge
I've always been of a fan of challenging myself and exiting my comfort zone, so I challenge myself to 15 days of Nato straps . I'll wear my watches exclusively on natos and will post a photo everyday along with a quick thought. We'll see how this goes, wish me luck.
