Ma?tres du Temps Rounds Out Chapter Two
Last year’s headliner watch from Ma?tres du Temps was undeniably the innovative Chapter Three Reveal but the haute-de-gamme brand, which teams up noted independent watchmakers to produce limited, complicated models, also released a version of its Chapter Two timepiece in a sporty, round case, nicknamed TCR, for Triple Calendar Round.Ma?tres du Temps Chapter Two TCR is the brainchild of Daniel Roth and Peter Speake-Marin, two of today’s most famous and accomplished watchmakers, and has a movement developed by Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier, the Swiss movement manufacturer that also makes exclusive calibers for Parmigiani and, recently, for Herms. There's been an overwhelming barrage of threads lately where regular Joes like myself have complained about the impossibility of getting a stainless steel Rolex at retail. I only very recently (last week) learned of just how impossible a feat this really is. The popular SS models are pretty much exclusively reserved for VIP's-- people who've spent $100k+ on jewellery and less-desirable Rolexes/watches-- and while they may have lists for us ordinary shmucks, they don't really mean a thing. Even if you're so lucky to hear the (deceitful) words you're on the list, it's really just a thinly veiled no as there'll always be someone who comes along before your name is reached who'll get dibs first. It just really irks me that having the money--$10k+-- is simply no longer enough to get you a watch. $10k may be chump change to some folks on here, but to the vast majority of the world it's a hell of a lot of money, no less to spend on a mass-produced watch boasting such antiquated mechanisms- ju
Blue Dial Milguass
I have a Milgauss w/ white face that i'm getting tired of. Its due for a service and i was wondering if Rolex would replace the white dial with a blue dial during the service. Will Rolex do this? Any major effect on value if i were going to resell?
