Welcome A New watches-dealer.com Smartphone Experience
Do you use a smartphone to browse watches-dealerwatches-dealer? If you do, you are now enjoying a much better view of the site, thanks to our new smartphone screens we rolled out recently, and we would like to hear about your experiences in the comments below.Half of our visits come from smartphones and tablets, and while most tablets will continue to enjoy the full desktop experience of the site, we have needed for some time to address the needs of smaller screens (and bandwidths) without compromising functionality, ease-of-navigation, or the amount of information we display on a page.Easier To ReadThat's the goal of a site with articles - it needs to be easy to read. For smartphones, we cranked up the font size and tossed out the sidebar so the text columns fit the screen.Solid Smartphone NavigationLook on the upper-left of the view on your smartphone, and you'll see a new navigation menu button. It's called a "hamburger menu," those three parallel, horizontal thick lines you see at
Finally back home after a 2.5 month hiatus
Just picked up my Jarno Trulli from local AD after a full spa treatment at APSC. Looks like new again! A shout out to Royal de Versailles in Toronto for their excellent customer care. The service took a little longer than expected for APSC to carry out the work but it was well worth the wait, for the pleasure of peeling the sticker off the bezel.

Omega kindly sent me over one of these babies a few weeks back, was impressed but not overly impressed - did a write-up here What do you guys think?
It was a Tuesday
My Omega Archive extract arrived yesterday and I took some time today to frame it.Omega customer service is really top notch I have to say. Hit a little speed bump and Omega USA sorted it no problem. Really fine folks over there, and I couldn't be happier. Ariel Morel from OmegaUSCS took good care of me. I've just purchased an Omega Aqua Terra so it seems maybe there is a trend developing here.I think the extract adds a little color to the history of this old 30.
Recent Addition (5-digit content)...
I've had my 116710LN for a little over 7 years now and had always wanted to add a Polar 216570 to my collection. I am supposed to pick it up tomorrow from my fave AD. However, during the 3-week wait I started going back to look at 5-digit references, specifically the 16600, which I had always had a thing for as well. Prices have been creeping up for a while now, yet I had hesitated to pull the trigger.I finally found an M series 16600, that looked to almost be NOS w/ all papers, accessories, etc for a decent price. Well, it arrived today and I am thrilled. I was worried it may be top heavy as many people have complained about, but honestly, it is one of the most comfortable watches I own and of similar size to my Marathon GSAR. I thought the Polar 216570 would be my daily wearer, but now I don't know...the 16600 just melts into my arm, if that makes sense. Anyways, just wanted to share my excitement...now I'm looking at 16570s, which I know is dumb with a 216570 waiting on me.
