Lucien Piccard (LP) Celano Ceramic Watches Available
I was smitten with ceramic watches when I learned about the Chanel J12 watch. The popular designer watch was high quality and looked amazing with its never scratch glossy bracelet and band. The price of the watch was something I was not too happy about. Like other Chanel goods, it demanded a high premium for what you got. $3000-$5000 for the black or white ceramic watch was way too much. I'd have to wait for something else. Then I learned about the Lucien Piccard (LP) Celano. A beautiful watch from an otherwise fringe brand. The LP Celano has all the things I liked about the Chanel J12, but was priced far less (depending on where you got it). Actually, the LP Celano was one of those watches available on ShopNBC, which is a television based shopping network. Regardless, the LP Celano had a lot going for it, and I wanted to get one as soon as I could. Several months later I finally got my LP Celano on eBay for far under retail. When I finally was able to feel the watch, I was so impressed.

Regarding 3513.50
All,I generally hang out in the vintage rolex section, but I have been asked to research a 3513.50 or 3570.50 by my sister in law as a birthday gift to her husband (my brother). I know nothing about Omega watches and I would like a brief history on these two models......provenance, vintage, production run, etc. According to my SIL, he seems to have searched more on the 3513.50 than the latter. Anything would be helpful, and any advice on searching for one would also be helpful. Pete
First time submariner buyer
Looking at a stainless 2007/2008 bought new in 2009, 16610 m with box and papers. It had its annual tuneup in 2014 at a Rolex dealer. A few normal scuffs on band but watch itself is perfect. He is asking 6500, was thinking offering 6k. Is this a fair price in today's market? What should I consider or look at before purchasing?
GMT Bezel on an old Explorer II
I have an older model Rolex Explorer II that I want to put a black GMT bezel on. I've seen/heard it can be done from different sources on the net. But when I took my Explorer to a local watch shop, they told me my model explorer is one of only two years that this will not work on. I have the 16570. Anyone know if this is true or if the guy didn't know what he was doing? Or am I just wishful thinking? I'm kindof set on doing it if possible and disappointed if it can not be done with this model.
