Hands-On: With The Girard-Perregaux 1966 Full Calendar In White Gold (Live Pics, Specs, & Pricin
The 1966 line from Girard-Perregaux is easily the purest from this manufacture of haute horlogerie. But it can perhaps be overlooked, considering GP's attention-grabbing, truly cutting-edge masterworks like the 2013 GPHG-winning Constant Escapement LM. While tri-axial tourbillons and triple bridges are fun to read (and write) about, it's not necessarily what the average watch lover looks for in an everyday timepiece. For that, the 1966 collection does the trick, and today we take a look at this elegant full calendar in white gold. 2 OF 14 These watches have a number of features you would want to find in a high-end, every day luxury watch. They are not excessively sized at 40 mm, and the dials can either come in black or white. They are true triple calendars in the old sense of the term – not annual calendars or perpetual calendars. Good Planet GMT or Liquid Metal Chronograph?
I currently own a Good Planet GMT, but I've been considering selling it, then purchasing a Liquid Metal Chronograph. I'm really on the fence and need some input from others. Also, would the other non-LM chorno's be a better investment than the LM?

Advice on where/how to sell a Panerai
Hi AllFirst of all if I'm being honest I know very little to nothing about watches other than they tell the time and Rolex's are both good and likely out of my price range 🙂, so I apologise in advance for my ignorance and if I ask any silly questions. (Eager to learn)Hoping someone can offer me some advice on where is the best place to find a good buyer for a Panerai.I guess that eBay is a good cheap to sell resource but is there anywhere good specifically for watches or in particular Panerai'sAlso are there any potential red flags/scams to look out for in a prospective buyer? What do buyers look for when buying a Panerai? I appreciate all advice/tips.Thanks for your help.J
Great summer watch...
... with the right strap. Really a 'can do anything' piece.
