Anybody here have a ROO Grand Prix?
since receiving my 26400so last week I am amazed by how nice these 44 ROO's are on the wrist. After flipping my way through the 15400 2x, diver 2x, and a volcano I took a hiatus from the brand as I thought it just wasn't for me. Well I couldn't be more wrong Anyway I really love the look of the FC and especially the Grand Prix. I would love to here some feedback about the FC ROO's!!!
Audemars Piguet Table Clock (with huge flying tourbillon)
Did you see this? Thoughts?
Finally got to try out the new PO's!
I swung by the Omega boutique in the area and had the chance to inspect and try on the new PO Cal 8500 42mm and the new PO Chrono 45mm. And for fun of course I had to give the Ploprof another try! :-)The PO 42mm was just a pleasure strap on. The size is very compelling for an everyday piece. The matte dial, sharp hands and new LQM bezel melts together very nicely. It feels very solid and high quality. My only nag was the lug width could be another mm or two, especially when you try it on the rubber strap (ever excellent one btw) it just appears a bit under-dimensioned and not in proportion. Overall, it is a very nice piece but it does scream Buy me!, at least in my book.Next up was the PO Chrono 45mm with the new Calibre 9300. It actually felt rather good on the wrist size-wise (I was wearing a SD 16600 for the last week). The design and look is just very attractive and it oozes quality. But the +19mm thickness is just a deal killer for me. It looks redonkelous when you view it in prof
My first PP 5960R
I had zero thoughts in my head to own a PP. it was something that I thought was not the right time but the wife and I went into the AD to look for one for her, and we found one for me. She pushed me to get it and I am glad she did. What piece! I am so thrilled. I attached a pic. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
The Sub of Pams
Finally after a year of going back and forth I think I want to make the jump over to a Paneria for my weekend work (I wear an 114060, do wedding films, dress nice and with style (custom shirts, shoes ect) not like the guys you see in black pants and black polo shirts). In any case, the Sub is a can't miss watch if your looking for your first Rolex, well I am looking for a can't miss Paneria for the purist. Would like to stay under $5000, was thinking maybe 00609, I am going to purchase new from watchmaxx as they seem to offer the best discounts for something brand new. I do like the look of Sandwich dials over painted. Ideas?steve
