In April of this year, while searching through an Antiquorum catalog, we discovered one of the coolest examples of one of the coolest watches of all time – a Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso owned by none other than General Douglas MacArthur. We've always known the Reverso to be the choice of several great men, but it was unknown that General MacArthur in particular wore the watch. We knew the MacArthur Reverso would have its fans when it came up for sale, and we were right – it sold for over 87,000 CHF. Benefits New vs Used?
Im curious of thoughts and opinions on New vs Used for a Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch/Sapphire Sandwich.I have been looking for a while and i havent been able to readily find a used Sapphire Sandwich 3573.50 and the more recent 311.30.42.30.01.006 .I really enjoy the large box with all the accessories the new watch comes with, and would love to find this set in gently used condition. But New vs Used there is a good price difference. Is this just an opinion based answer? Thanks for the thoughts in advance.
