Trade DSSD and POC for AD Diver
Need some opinions please. I have an opportunity to trade my DSSD black dial and my Omega POC on bracelet, straight up for a year old AP Diver SS. Both of my watches are mint, and bought new. I really like to Diver, but the thought of scratching it up or even wearing it daily cause me stress. I don't baby my watches, but I am pretty careful not to damage them. Had a PAM 233 that I had to stop wearing because I felt it was to delicate for my lifestyle.Any thought would be greatly appreciated.
Comfort or Looks?
Will you buy an AP purely for its looks but in reality feels uncomfortable wearing it? Or it's just a matter of getting use to? / putting up with?Watch in question, the very popular and great looking Offshore RG44. My heaviest watch so far, the 42mm SS Diver.
Trading watches
Hello all!I am trying to trade my two Rolex's for a new time piece, I have a Rolex Batman and hulk both with boxes and papers what do you think I should be looking at to trade to? I have a thing for AP's and pateks my dream is to own a nautilus.
Rolex Submariner 16610LV Fat (Flat) 4 Insert
So my 16610LV from 2004 F5****** serial came with a complete full set, but in 2008 it was serviced by Rolex and received a new 93250 bracelet (original one still in exceptional condition, not sure why it was replaced and allowed to be kept) AND a replacement green insert with a pointy 4.My question is this. Where would I get an original fat (flat) 4 insert back for the watch? I have been looking on eBay but nothing but the pointy 4 inserts.Cheers in advance.
Running out of patience
Talk me off the ledge TRF! I've been waiting for 8 months now for the SS Skydweller Blue Dial. Talked to my AD yesterday. 2nd on the list. They haven't even received the first one!!! No idea when it'll be. Growing impatient and thoughts of just buying something else keeps creeping in. Thinking about just pulling the trigger on the new AP SS ROC 41 in the blue dial. I know it's about $10k more, but it's a fantastic watch. First Rolex I have seen in a long time that I wanted and I can't get one? Frustrating....What would you do?
