Vintage Omega dealers?
Hey everyone,I'm a newbie when it comes to vintage Omega, and in fact my only experience with the brand is owning a SM PO that I purchased in 2005 (my first dive watch).I'm wondering if anyone here knows of a reliable and honest vintage Omega dealer? No Pepsi and CHNR?
Stopped in to my local AD this afternoon for the hell of it (and to chit chat about the SS Pepsi waitlist I'm on with them). I was thinking of picking up a TT CHNR, so I inquired. Apparently not much of a waitlist and they were able to submit an order request to Rolex. Apparently not a sought after watch? Anyway, I found this interesting. The salesman said that my CHNR order request might get turned down by Rolex, since I'm on a list for the Pepsi. This was to avoid flippers. Has anyone else heard this? Is it possible for Rolex to turn you down from ordering two separate models at the same time?
