Equipe Watches Rallies with duPont Registry at Barrett-Jackson Auctions
Equipe is a new, automotive-inspired watch brand with series bearing names such as Dash, Big Block, Hemi and Ball Joint. Born in Detroit, Equipe Watches are geared for those who are passionate about cars and want to wear that passion on their wrist. The brand’s latest marketing venture will make the watches available in the du Pont Registry booth at the important Barrett-Jackson collector car auctions. duPont Registry is a leading publication among high-end automobile collectors, offering an impressive array of rare, exotic and luxury cars for sale, and the Barrett-Jackson Auction in Scottsdale is a mecca for auto enthusiasts of all types. For the exhibition, Equipe Watches built a custom display using a mold of an engine block, complete with pistons and manifold. Equipe watches will make their first Barrett-Jackson appearance at the 1st Annual Supercar Meet, June 25 -27 in Orange County, CA. Every two years the Munich Brand Rating agency and the prominent German business and news magazine Wirtschaftswoche (“Economic Week”) team up to identify the leading luxury brands in Germany. This year, data was collected from interviews with more than 150 experts in a variety of industries. For the second time in a row, A. Lange & S?hne was named the top-ranking luxury brand with a total of 242 out of a possible 300 points. Lange stood above arguably better-known brands such as the Mercedes Benz-owned Maybach (218) and famed sports car manufacturer Porsche (197).

Prices of 5167 Aquanauts
Hi everyone,Is the outlook on the prices of PP 5167 Aquanauts taking the direction of the 5711s? I bought one (bracelet full set and then bought the rubber strap and deployant) a while back for around 18k when prices looked around 19k online. Now they seem to be listed for 22-23k? I've heard waiting lists are now getting long as people give up on the 5711s.Received an offer of $21.25k earlier in the week, wondering if I should take the cash or hold on. I still love the aqua especially swapping between rubber and bracelet but it's received less wrist time especially on bracelet since I got the 5711 white.Personal opinion is the aquanaut is freaking awesome (on par with the 5711 in finishing, style etc).Thoughts?

I may have a problem
.........a Nautilus problem that is.Ok, let me start off by saying, that my dreams are haunted by this freaking watch.....had a chance to fondle a 5711 a few weeks ago and it may have given me some kind of a virus.....I remember posting here a few years back, something like patek does nothing for me, that statement still remains, however, the only watch I'm absolutely obsessed with is the Nautilus.I'm contemplating the unthinkable here boys.........consolidating.Am I crazy.I may need to be pimpslapped by some one.

Patek or Audemars?? Decisions...decisions!!

This is the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak in Rose Gold. This piece is unmistakable and is pure luxury. The fit and finish on the AP is near perfect and the presence on the wrist is second to none. This is equally an heirloom that will be passed from generation to generation in a family.So, which would you chose?
