First Look: Ten Top Vintage Lots From The Phillips Hong Kong Watch Auction One
November saw some pretty exciting auctions and the good news is, the season is far from over. Come December, Phillips' first auction in Hong Kong will offer plenty of incredible vintage grails. Think for instance of the rarest perpetual calendar from Patek Philippe, or a Rolex Daytona Solo, or an incredibly elegant Crash from Cartier London. We should also not forget a dreamy Datejust in pink gold, as well as a seriously enticing chronograph from Vacheron Constantin. Let's focus now on our 10 favorite vintage watches coming up next week. Patek Philippe Reference 3450 Perpetual Calendar In White Gold C One Of Two Known! 1 OF 122 OF 12 Let me introduce you to the star of the show, the incredibly rare Patek reference 3450 in white gold. Question on an Omega
A guy just called me because he was hurting for money. he said he has an old Omega f300 he will sell me. I know nothing about these watches and am interested in it but do not have any idea of a value of the watch. Can someone give me an approximate value of this Omega? The guy said he will take $175.00 for it and I dont know if its a fair price or what..ThanksShawn
First incoming
Was torn between blue Milgauss, Explorer and Sub NCI wanted a watch to wear' and possibly, but hopefully not, this may be the only Rolex I'm able to afford.Decided on the no date - now to find one.Looked around, went on lists - no joy.I didn't really want to go grey, wanted new with my name on the card, but it wasn't looking good.Found myself with work, in a hotel out of town. Googled any local ADs, turned out there was, literally around the corner - what did I have to lose?Went in, told my story and asked, if despite being from out of town, I could go onto their list for the Sub.He thought for a moment, and said You know, there's one coming on the delivery this afternoon - if you want to wait and can pay now, it's yours OVER THE MOON!
Milgauss's inner case size
Hi all,I recently got some watch tools and was messing around opening casebacks of my watches and looking/taking pics of the movements. But for the milgauss does anyone know what size opener I will need? The largest one I have is 29.5mm (which basically opens all rolexes) Thanks!
Decisions Decisions SS Sky-Dweller
I am in a bit of a quandary - I have been contacted by my local AD informing me that they have a Sky-Dweller for me to view/purchase.The issue is that it has the white dial and I'm unsure about it as I prefer the black or blue.I'd be interested on members thoughts on this dial as I believe it looks better in the flesh?Could anyone tell whether the dial could be changed at a later date? - I don't want to give up a chance of buying this scarce piece.
