Hands-On with the Padron Selby
A couple of years ago, we put a piece together about Padron Watch Company, a one-man show out of Minneapolis. Leo Padron, said one-man, welcomed us into his watch making studio, where he designs and assembles his line of affordable and unique watches (yes, he's a watch maker). It's worth a read to learn a bit more about the man and his brand. At the time, he was just finishing up a successful Kickstarter campaign for his Tessera timepieces, one of several such projects. Now, he is currently at the end of yet another successful campaign for an update to the Tessera, named the Selby.What caught my about this watch, all of Padron's watches for that matter, was that it's totally his own vision. His watches are unique and almost bizarre, and while not for everyone, have an undeniable charm. In the market for Moonwatch
Guys and Gals,I am in the market of a Moonwatch and visited an AD today. I have been offered $4400 out the door for both 39.7 Moonwatch with leather and the speedmaster pro with hesalite. I am kind a stuck as to which one should I get. Both are same price. I was told if I need a nato strap with speedmaster pro then that is an extra $400 or $500. The speedmaster professional with sapphire crystal is offered to me for $5200 out the door with clear case back.What do you guys think? Speedmaster professional question
Hi all, I've just noticed that if I don't smoothly and quickly depress the first plunger, the stop watch hand jumps out to the five second mark and then runs normally. Has anyone else noticed that? Do I have an issue on my hands. I really hope not because this watch was away at the spa for many months getting serviced when there was some moisture under the crystal. Appreciate any advice / opinion. Thanks.
