The Margot is Christophe Claret's first watch ever intended for women, and we have to admit that it is rather imaginative. The maker of extremely high-end complicated men's watches wanted to create something unique for females, so he made a watch with a poetic complication very similar in theme to what a brand like Van Cleef & Arpels would create. Though I had to say that only an independent watchmaker such as Christophe Claret would have the mind and motivation to take a concept such as this so far. Finally joined the club. New 15400
Hi all,Thought I'd share a few pictures of my new AP 15400, my first ever AP.I've been saving for a while and wasn't quite sure which watch would be my next purchase until a recent visit to Vegas and an AP AD. I tried on a few different models including the 15202, the new ROC and then this 15400 white dial. The 15202 looked a little small on me and the ROC looked nice but didn't really speak to me the way the 15400 did. I didn't make a purchase then, but obsessed over this watch until I got home. I found one here on TRF that Takuya was selling (at quite a discount from the AD) and pulled the trigger. I could not be happier. Not only is this my first AP but my first white dialed watch. The dial on this thing is insane (in a good way) and the bracelet looks and feels awesome.I'll let the pictures tell the rest of the story but, suffice it to say, I'm really happy to finally join the AP club!!

DD36 overdue upgrade?
Does anyone else share my opinion that the DD36 is long overdue an upgrade? From what I can see it's unchanged since 2005 during which time the DD2 has come and gone, the DD40 has been released (inc ceramic link bracelet and new movement) and all sorts of other models including the Datejust (closest relation to the day-date) are now technically in front of whats supposed to be the brands flagship model. Although I'm quite sure good discounts can be had on dd36's vs other models it has still been subject to all the price rises and a YG 36 is only 10% cheaper on UK list than the equivalent dd40 despite the bigger size and advancements. The only reason I can think of is that there is so much outstanding dd36 stock sitting in shop windows that they have to run it down to the point where they're not creating an issue for themselves to get rid of it/take them back by releasing a new 36mm day-date. Any other ideas?

Lost it way back in 1988 in Chicago. Hoping for some info on whereabouts to buy it back
