IWC Da Vinci Chronograph Ceramic
The first ceramic watch case debuted in an IWC Da Vinci in 1986. In 2007, IWC presented its newly developed manufacture flyback chronograph movement in the redesigned Da Vinci family. For 2010, the circle is complete as the movement gets a new, elegant, high-tech home in the form of a ceramic and titanium case in – you guessed it – the Da Vinci Chronograph Ceramic. This IWC-manufactured chronograph movement incorporates several unique design features. Particularly noteworthy is the display of the recorded time, which leaves the traditional display in the past and adopts a user-friendly integrated display that shows the hours and minutes on a single counter in the 12 o'clock position via a shorter hour hand and a longer minute hand, like a second time display. The 89360 calibre also offers a new double-pawl winding system and a flyback function: actuating the lower button during a timing function causes the recorded time to return to zero and restart immediately, without sto
Big day... first major "surgery"
Big day for the rb2 today… this was in the works for a week now and I knew this would happen sooner rather than later so why not get it done. I’ll let the pictures do the talking…Took the watch with me to work today knowing that surgery would happen around 11am. I’d rather stare at the watch than get frustrated looking at trafficTransplant parts have arrived… they are marked “urgent” Ordered from AP Clearwater a rubber diver strap (black and in XS)New packagingSize comparison next to the standard strapPrepped for transplantDone! The rubber strap feels so comfortable and is better for hot and humid texas daysPicked up an aftermarket titanium buckle off ebay. I didn’t want to spend $700 on a OEM buckle and have it banged up anyway. I wish it didn’t have the AP stamp but oh well. I do like the fact that the edge of the buckle is polished and matches the edges of the watch. EDIT: If anyone is selling a OEM tang buckle, hit me up!
Question re AP Royal Oak
Does anyone know the main differences between these two AP models:14790ST15300STI like that white dial!I am looking at adding a RO to my collection and saw the 14790ST at what seems a fair price. I looked at AP's official website and it seems it's discontinued. Any input will be greatly appreciated.Cheers,Adrian

Late 2002 translation warranty manual
Hi All Quite sometime ago I purchased a lady datejust for my daughter and she has managed to lose the translation manual, personally I don't think that its a big problem when it comes to value, however at the same time I would like to ensure that if it come to it she could sell the watch (very unlikely) for the absolute maximum price. I have been trying to locate a warranty translation manual for over a year now and I just cannot find any information at all, can anyone point me in the right direction of the part number that I should be looking for when doing my searches for a late 2002 translation warranty manual? TIA
