The Oak & Oscar Burnham
The American watch brand scene just gained a new addition with Chicago-based Oak & Oscar. The brand is entering the market with a watch called the Burnham, a limited-edition piece that packs a lot of detailing into a straightforward design. Oak & Oscar looks and sounds like something straight out of a hipster’s how-to handbook, with references to bourbon and crafted-leather accessories, but there is some real substance here in the execution. 1 OF 6 The Burnham gets its name from the architect and urban planner Daniel Burnham, who left his indelible mark on the city of Chicago more than 100 years ago. The watch is an interesting study in dial design, with many subtle details working independently of one another. The matte-grey dial is referred to as “non-militarized,” meaning great lengths were taken to ensure the sandwich dial and each of the Arabic numerals didn’t come off as a stencil set of numbers. Choice on swiss watch dealer
Hi guys, I come from Hong Kong and would like to buy my 1st AP watch through chrono24 from 2 swiss watch dealers, Timeworld and Taleda. Both are trusted seller in chrono24. As i have never traded with them, I am worry about the authenticity of their watch. Did anyone ever trade with them?? If it is so, please kindly share your experience. Thanks a lot

New to the ROO Family!
I've owned various APs throughout the years, but never an Offshore. Much less an Offshore chrono. I've long admired them, but always thought they may be a bit too loud for my personality. Still love my other APs, but so glad took the leap, and it's very quickly becoming one of my favorite watches. I know lots of folks aren't big fans of the new navy, but in the end, watch collecting is about buying what you love and this is the watch really spoke to me. Thank you TRF and the seller! Can't believe it took me this long to join the ROO family!

Cracked Ceramic Bezel
So here is what a BLNR ceramic bezel looks like when dropped from approx 5 feet onto an aluminium frame. I may have felt a bit better about it if I'd knocked it on a rusty cannon at 100 feet depth whilst diving for doubloons, but that's not me! Probably only me that will ever notice, so I will live with it for now...
