Xicorr Circle Review
Xicorr watches is a new brand based out of Poland. Like G. Gerlach, who we reviewed recently, Xicorr is focused on manufacturing locally in Poland, having interesting designs and affordable prices. While Gerlach makes watches based on classic designs and themes, Xicorr goes for an entirely novel look. It's rare to find watches, especially in this price range, that start ground up with their designs. Case, dial, hands, etc were all created specifically for the watch. That's not just to say that the parts aren't "off-the-shelf" (they are all made in Poland), they are also utterly different. The first watch by Xicorr, which we're reviewing today, is the Circle. It's a modern sport watch with a very distinct look that you wont find elsewhere. Techne Harrier Ref 392 and 362 Review
Techn is a brand we've been following since we first started worn&wound. Specializing in great looking pilot and aviator watches with even more outstanding prices, they are one of the few brands out there they is as committed to design as they are to quality and value. They also take a no fuss, transparent approach to what they make.Utilizing Asian made movements and cases, they keep their costs down, but not at the expense of quality. Though the older Techn models are clearly present in the new Harriers, one can see how the aesthetic has evolved and become both bolder and cleaner for a more aggressive and contemporary look. Once again, Techn has utilized a c
The Watch I Wore The Most In 2014, By Every Single Member Of The HODINKEE Team
Members of the HODINKEE team are often asked about our personal watch buying and wearing habits. That's understandable – we spend our days around incredible watches, both old and new, and most of us have dedicated not only our careers but also our lives to understanding and appreciating these timepieces. This year, we continue our annual tradition of sharing our watch-wearing habits of the past 12 months. We asked every member of the HODINKEE team, from Kelly, to Blake, to Eric and Will, to Felix and Jason, to Evald, to Paul, to Ben and John Mayer, which watch, out of all the watches they've worn in 2014, they spent the most time with. The answers will tell you a lot about who we all are as watch lovers. Jason Heaton C Rolex Submariner 2 OF 11 This Rolex Submariner has accompanied on most of my significant adventures over the past few years and it got the most wrist time in 2014. I wore it while crewing (fittingly) on a sailboat in the four-day Rolex
