Off To A. Lange & Sohne Watch Making Headquarters In Glashutte, Germany
I've been invited to Glashutte to visit Germany's preeminent luxury watch maker, A. Lange & Sohne. My trip will take me to the Ore Mountains region near Dresden, where A. Lange & Sohne's headquarters and factory is located. Glashutte's main employers are all watch makers, and is known as a prime region focused on the continuation of the world's most dedicated mechanical art from, horology. While touring Glashutte I'll have a rare opportunity to view the nervous system of a German luxury watch making machine, able to observe and converse with the master watch makers themselves. A. Lange & Sohne's production is between only 5000 - 7000 watches a year, due to extremely high quality demands. I am very excited to report my findings to you upon my return, so please pardon the lack of reading material for the next few days until January 17th.Take a look at this aerial view of Glashutte. This is no city, and barely a town. Regardless, this hamlet is world famous for producing mechan
Bam! Happy weekend to all the AP friends here!
It has been officially confirmed that the blue 15300 is a danger to driving and completely distracting. Different shades of lighting creates a different hue of blue on the dial and almost vintage like given the charcoal blue backdrop. Truly mesmerizing..
Traded my ROO for a Hat
Was at the AP Service Center yesterday in Clearwater to turn in my 15710ST for it's 3rd year warranty check. Hopefully will get the watch back in about 4 weeks but they gave me this fine AP Hat to alleviate the wait time and got a private tour of the facility - quite amazing but no photos allowed.
Sub LN to Sub LVc?
I'm considering doing this. Selling/trading my Sub LN for a Sub LVc. Anyone do this and regret it?I know the obvious answer is to add the LVc but I can't afford to have a ten watch collection, so two Subs in a 2 or 3 watch collection seems excessive. My current collection is the LN and a 16750 Pepsi.I'm just kind of bored of the LN and that sunburst green dial is calling my name.FWIW, would not be paying over MsRP. I would wait for a MSRP opportunity from an AD or buy used. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
A Colorful Duo
I recently picked up an LVC to go along with my BLNR. Who knew all this color would be so much fun?! Which one do you prefer?
