I might be going nuts thinking about this
Yes, I'm thinking to flip my Rolexes for an Aquanaut 5167 Really love the look especially on brown or military green rubber strap.I have a few second thoughts though about commencing the search.Currently have a 1016 from ��87 and a polar Explorer II from 2000. I'm really looking forward to input from all Aquanaut owners or past owners. I'm concerned about the following.1.) Obviously the service process is complicated and probably a lot more expensive than with Rolex. What is the average cost and how often maintenance is required?2.) Looking at my Rolexes I can comfortably say they're both true daily beaters, especially the Ex II. Can you place an Aquanaut into the same arena of usage, ruggedness and durability?3.) what do you think of versatility of the watch. I can assure you that the 1016 goes with literally any attire for any occasion. Looking at the sector dial but am concerned with fit. Some have said it is a bit stiff, like a dinner plate or limpet. Does anyone have any fit complaints? I tried on and thought similar, but it was a while ago and can't remember for sure.

Went to an AD this morning...WOW...!!!
I wanted to have another look at the Deepsea...I have owned all manner of Subs and Sea Dwellers over the last 40 years and the idea of getting something that I have not owned really appeals to me...I had tried it on briefly once before when they first came out in 2008 and I thought it ridiculous...To big, to thick...But intelligence allows for a change...I LOVED it...!!!What I found so shocking was that I did not find it overly big at all...I didn't even think it was that heavy, based on some of the comments I have read...Here it is next to my Longine Legend Diver (42mmx52mm)Is it big, yes...Is it thick...Absolutely...But it seemed to fit my 8 wrist like a glove...I did not feel that the bracelet was to narrow...And on the wrist you do not notice the Original Gas Escape Valve writing at all...And the Domed crystal is killer...I spent an hour with it on and was smitten... I was planning on just getting another 14060 to go along with my LLD...But now...I just don't know...
True Eternal Rolex Watches
Most Rolexes are just beautiful, but some are in the must have category, and legends that be or will be. I am biased towards GMT��s, so I would say that the 5 digit Coke��s and Pepsi��s definitely fit into eternal designs. These watches command their prices simply because it is a no nonsense must have watch to wear proudly. It looks as if the Batman will also participate into one of those eternal designs. The classic submariner also goes in there. I don��t believe there is any flipping of these watches but do believe in newer watches flipping.So, there are other watches new in the scene, which shall one day in the distant future earn that title belonging to the few right now. What will those watches be ?
