Wyler’s New Code-R Chronograph
Wyler Gen��ve presents a new version of its Code-R chronograph. The watch, in brushed titanium, features the brand's familiar shock-absorbing case, but with a new dial design. The case measures 52.10mm by 43.50mm and has been designated “Code-R.” This moniker will be applied to all collections for which it is used. In this latest incarnation, the Code-R case is finished in brushed titanium with brushed titanium pushers and crown protector and a rubber-coated titanium crown. Four sprung-mounted titanium screws at the corners of the case fix the sandwich construction of titanium plates, carbon fiber frame and titanium container together to provide the shock-absorbing function.Recalling the brand's El Camino Real model, the dial of this chronograph features a one-piece applique that comprises the rings for the continuous seconds and chronograph counters, 11 integrated hour markers and an over-sized Arabic 12. One of my top 5 all time watches is the Omega Speedmaster 376.0822 - Maybe even top 2. One day, one day ...... !!However been tracking an Omega Speedmaster Pro Mark IV 176.009 for sale on another forum. Slightly over priced in my opinion but I think thats reflected in fact its not selling.Swithering whether to dip into my 75/ 80% 1680 fund ........!! A sign of age I'm holding back ..... !! Maybe this one for after the 1680 ..... !!Anyone got a Mark IV 176.009 & some wrist shots to temp me ....... !! Particulary interested on how it sits on the wrist & the height ?

Oooops, I did it again!!!!
Some time in late September, I decided to step out of my Panerai and Rolex shell and go for a sporty Patek. I was fortunate to have all the fellow Patek owners here who gave some very valuable inputs. In came this beauty:She was stunning and the blue dial, absolutely mesmerizing. The 5711 was like a piece of art that is ready for the Guggenheim museum. On the other hand, it was also dressy, classy and just Pierce Brosnan like cool! However, I am no Pierce Brosnan. I am mostly a jean and t-shirt guy and according to my wife, goofy. The thinner 5711 case along with the sharp and dressy feel and I just did not jive. 5711 maybe perfect for most, unfortunately, it was not for me. 5167 is also out of the picture since the case is about the same thickness as the 5711 and a tad too thin for my taste. Are there/were there Rolex models with brushed lugs + jubilee bracelet?
Every modern Rolex I can think of that comes with a jubilee bracelet has polished lugs. Is that how it's always been? Or did older 5-digit DJs, as an example, have the tops of the lugs brushed and also a jubilee bracelet (with alternating brushed/polished links)?I've seen pics of members' BLNRs with super jubilee bracelet, so it seems like brushed lugs and jubilee works. Just wanting to get more opinions.
