De Bethune and the Ninth Mayan Underworld
De Bethune tells us that the ninth step of the Bolon Yokte Ku, the cosmic pyramid of the Mayan civilization, symbolizes the advent of a new world, the ninth underworld, according to which the evolution of consciousness is believed to reach its highest level. The brand marks the occasion of humankind's symbolic passage into this new underworld predicted by the Mayan calendar with a 12-piece edition created in tribute to the scholarly traditions of this people. So I think I'm about to move my diver and IWC BP to a good friend and use the $$ to scratch my itch for the Bee. The deal is pretty much a wash in regards to cash with no significant outlay on my part nor is there any $$ coming back my way.Pulling the trigger would leave me with my Panda (have both strap and bracelet for it) and the Bee as my two main watches. I have another special piece that does not get much wear but is very sentimental to me.Am I about to make a mistake ? My fear is that this transaction will leave me with very little diversity and two almost identical watches. And I'm a bit concerned about the lack of weight of the Bee....always used to having a heavy watch on the wrist. The diver is great as its very versatile. On the other hand I do love the Panda and have lusted after the Bee since its release and I dont wear the BP much. And even though both Panda and the Bee have the same DNA, they are VERY different in their looks, case make up, etc....Any input is welc

Hello Friends here is my First Omega, its such a classic and what a huge box!!
Omega Service Center (NJ) - Horrible Service
I owned a SeaMaster for about 10 years and finally I sent it in for service. It came back with all the edges on my case rounded off. I was upset because my bracelet was fine. They also broke the extension clasp. Omega service (NY) or Swatch group, whatever, replaced the clasp but never rectified the rounding/over polishing of the edges. Their service was less than par and I have to say this but I will NEVER buy an Omega again. BTW, my watch needs service again because it now loses about 5 min/month. When I sent it in it only lost about a minute or so. I do NOT trust their service. Someone else I know had their Sea Master come back with a broken bezel. WTF?
