New from Baselworld 2014: Hublot Classic Fusion Tourbillon Skull
Hublot, the watch brand known for its “fusion” of materials, unveils another new case material and some very eye-catching design elements in the movement with its Hublot Classic Fusion Tourbillon Skull, the latest in its series of “skull” watches, introduced at the recent Baselworld 2014 watch fair. The material that Hublot uses for the case, bezel and crown of the Classic Fusion Tourbillon Skull is a type of ceramic-coated aluminum that is created through a treatment called MAO (Microarc Oxidation). The process involves surface conversion via plasma discharge in an electrolyte bath, forming a surface that is hard, dense and adhesive. The material’s micro-blasted finish, which gives this watch’s cases their distressed look, comes from manual sanding, ensuring that each case has a unique finish. Thinking of A.P. Advice Please
For first AP thinking of a 4100SA. Have Rolex, Omega, Panerai, Piaget, JLC (1947), Hamilton (1930), Concord (1952), Seiko owner. Not trying too compare, apples vs oranges. Want opinions on AP, plus this model. Thanks.
which chrono do you prefer
Would be great if you could give me some reasons WHY you prefer the 5070 or 5170I know which one I would take but I'm biased .I made this poll because somebody asked me which one I prefer . I am unable to give an unbiased answer because one of these two is just the perfect watch for me So which one would you take and why ?a few examples of the 5170 reference 5070
My new 523
I have now owned my watch for a week and have decided that it is time for a new strap. I LOVE the Brown Aligator strap that came with it. I am looking at the Black Aligator strap with the deployment buckle. I have found this strap on Watch Band Source and it says it is OEM. Has anyone purchased a strap form them and is it really OEM? Given that they are selling it for $289.95 it seems lower than anything that I have seen in the OEM market. Thanks.
What is a fair price to pay for a 116900 Air King, named warranty card, New in Box?
Got offered a 116900 new in box with named warranty card, been considering for awhile. What's a fair price to pay, considering I'd prefer to buy from an AD but this ones available. Also, anyone aware of any 116900's sitting in display cases anywhere in the US?
