Virtual Ideas "Big Time" Watch Concept
Allow me to present you with another watch concept from Switzerland based Virtual Ideas, a design firm that creates watches for established watch companies (a lot of the time large companies rely on smaller, independent design firms when it comes to watch design. They then figure out how to produce it, market it, and then sell it). The first concept I shared with you (a while back) was the Pink Panther watch concept. The concept watch here is called "Big Time." You can see the thematic similarity to their previous concept design.Big Time is a larger, square shaped watch with dimensions that should be in the 50mm wide and 45mm tall range. The dial itself is perfectly square, but as you can see there is an interesting rubber guard/bumper around the crown. The case is curved a bit and looks nice in rose gold. You can see the sharp faceting around the edges. Lugs are set widely apart but cut short and sharp for a technical feel. They also help preserve the angularity of the design. You see
trade 15202 for 15450YG?
i think these two could absolutely live harmoniously together in the collection, but not wise on the wallet. the SS version of the 15450 never appealed to me, but in YG (especially with that blue dial) it is a stunner. tried it on at the boutique and wanted to walk out with it!is it heresy to suggest trading in the perennial classic (as well as increasingly valued) jumbo for the 15450YG (which conversely would decrease in value over time)?it's a beauty...
Trade Daytona for AP 15450?
I'm considering an AP 15450 and wondering what folks think about it? Is it a good idea to trade/move my Daytona for it?I tried it in Vegas a few months ago and it seemed like the only the AP that fit my skinny 6 wrists.Since I'm a bit of a serial flipper, how much does it lose in the secondary market, considering its not one of AP's popular models? Is it something that I would have a tough time selling or trading back?AP 15450AP 15202AP 15400

I could not hold back-- Incoming!!!
I was really trying to resist getting the Patek 5990. I think this watch had a gravitational pull. on me at least. I love my Patek 5164 dual time as it is so easy to change the time setting without messing anything else up, it is under the radar when traveling, and so easy to wear--- but I also love chronographs I also like the look and feel of my Nautilus 5712. This has to be one the most comfortable watches i have ever worn.. well i do digress--I had written to my Patek AD some time back and never heard back. I assumed either they missed the email and/or did not have but it not being the best time for me to buy-- i let it go.. But thanks or maybe no thanks to someone on this site - who shall remain nameless or lets just call him the enabler --- mentioned to me that their AD (which happened to be mine albeit for a shorter period of time) had one in stock Well the rest is history I just sold my PAM 311 which is dual time, chrono and PR indicator that i also liked but fou
