Can a Speedmaster Pro get along?
Can a Speedmaster Pro get along with other Rolexs, or will there be fighting and bickering?
Gift 5711, something seems off, but not sure what.
Hey all, First the story- I was asked what I'd like for my birthday and I said a blue dial 5980, because why not aim high? Disappointingly, they don't know any better and went for the 5711- a fine watch no doubt, but a bit boring. At least they were able to find a brand new one. Anyway, as with any shady Got this as a gift, is it real? story on here, it is not for sale (I am obviously looking to sell it, please PM me before any experts come in and out me) and just wanted to make sure that it was the real deal as the box was just a white cardboard thing. The crown seems SLIGHTLY different than what I've seen, but I think that small manufacturing variations are normal. I love the way that the dial glows over the bezel somehow. Can somebody explain the manufacturing process? Anyway if anybody has a serious offer, I'm looking for a 5980 and can send some cash your way. Comes with 8 paper plates, 1 knife and 8 forks.
Crime against Horology!
HelloI would like to know your opinion on this particular watch.I would like to buy it but not sure if it's genuine. It is a Patek Philippe in SS with movement signed Patek Philippe & Co, 17 Jewels. The movement looks old and similar to others from the 50's (like Venus, Omega, etc.) but i never saw before this movement. One other annoying thing is the movement regulator ring. Can anyone help me on this matter ?Is this genuine PP ?Thank you!Pictures here
Grey dealer stock SG
Went to visit a grey dealer that I just start having relationship with (bought BLNR from them). The usual suspects are on display hulk, sub nd & date, DS, SD, BLNR (still have 1 from 3 stocks previously). Daytona C hard to get boss lady said, was wearing mine so she's really jealous They're hoping to get the SS pepsi but she predicts will be really hard even for greys since the hype is really big.
