Clerc Hydroscaph Limited Edition Chronograph Watches
This year sees three versions of the Clerc Hydroscaph Limited Edition Chronograph watch. This unique piece is attractive as well as functional. Clerc uses a special movement that offers a full 12 hour chronograph with just two subdials. Rather than have two hands in one of the subdials, the main dial is used to measure both the chronograph seconds and the minutes. Wearing them I find the pieces to be extremely cool probably one of Clerc's best creations thus far.The Calibre C608 automatic movement is exclusively made for Clerc. I find the layout of it very enticing as it adds to the dial aesthetic as well as making the chronograph easier to read. I do want to say that this Clerc dial has been cleaned up some and the result is quite elegant. The design is almost artful in its approach to making a watch face more visually interesting. Legibility is maintained, and I love the hands - on all versions they stick out so well.Note how the chronograph pushers have been designed, they look like

Any if I wear a T-shirt and jeans or a suit of the Monaco shines and crowns of the holding.The size is not that big that would feel heavy. The Monaco is very comfortable to wear. The crocodile features leather strap folding loop steel polished with buttons which can be adjusted very precisely to find the best fit on my wrist - no any loose and not too tight. The clasp is also designed to keep the Monaco on your wrist where the loop opens by accident, never that happened to me yet. Is this movement, the one they use for their ROO, an all in-house movement? I understand some of their chronographs use JLC parts for the chronograph part of the movement.

The Verdict and Chosen two.
For those of you that have been following my previous thread titled two have to go! Help me decide . I have made a decision.Out of the four watches I posted, I am keeping just one. The 5513.I have chosen to sell the 16570 (already sold) 14060M (already sold) and 16710 Coke.BUT!Yesterday I added a watch to make it my second. A K serial 16710 Pepsi with SEL AND lug holes. And a beautiful faded bezel and kit.I'm now happy to say that these are my two watches. K serial 167101975 5513 (I plan on selling insert and rivet bracelet in order to source period correct parts)From here I only plan to add after the house Reno's and wedding is out of the way! Hi gents, new to the forums.I currently own a 2017 white dial ceramic Daytona and adore it. My only other watch is a 1990 Cartier Panthere which my father gave me and seldom wear as it is very dressy and very feminine.I have enough to buy a vintage Datejust and keep considering this and the Explorer 1.Does anyone have either the Daytona and DJ/Explorer 1 and enjoys/regrets having both? Clearly I love the Daytona, but wanted something to rotate it with. My other thought was to buy a Breitling Navitmer as I've always loved it.Your thoughts and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
