Raymond Weil Gen��ve has announced the establishment of its own distribution company in the United States, RW USA Corp. This new company marks a transition from the brand's stewardship in the United States from Benny Shabtai and Seville Watch Corporation, who has led the brand here for over 33 years. So if you could pick any stainless steel AP ROO... which one would you get and why? Please assume that this is your first and only AP when making the decision. I'm thinking black face rubber clad... worried that the ss bezel would get damaged rather quickly. Looking forward to everyone's responses.

Why Did the 36MM Datejust get the Upgrades?
Hi all, this question intrigues me. Why would the datejust 36mm get the new 32 series movement and the redesigned case sides (my understanding it will hold a polish better) before the Sub? In fact why would Rolex give it to the datejust ahead of the 36mm Day Date?I speculate, it is because the DJ is a much bigger seller, and more important to Rolex than we imagine. They need to satisfy (gasp!) their most important customer, the 36mm datejust buyer! I am sure there will be no waiting lists for them when they roll out across the line. Maybe Rolex does care about their most important customers! Could the majority of us forum members be less important than we think? Its too bad Rolex didn't release detailed sales information by model, it would be interesting to see. All speculation I know, but I would like to know what you think? I think it cant be overlooked. Hello Everyone,I have a dilemma I hope you can help me with. It takes me a LONG time to research and make up my mind when I purchase something so I hope you experts can provide some guidance in which direction I should go in purchasing my first Rolex.I have always wanted a Submariner but I was doing a little research and I am actually tempted in buying the Explorer II. I know the the general differences like what they both were made for but I really don't know what one would be the best in overall quality and ruggedness. I enjoy swimming and I am always doing outdoor activities so I need something that will hold up. I heard the Sub bezel is somewhat fragile and the Exp's bezel is stationary so basically what I am wanting to know is what watch would involve the least amount of work/maintenance over a lifetime? I have found a Sub (no date) but I heard it was not cosc certified. Is that something to worry about?Also, I am going to buy a pre-owned Rolex so I need some suggestions on some q

My First Rolex Purchase | Any Advice Much Appreciated
Hello everyone, this is my first ever post on this forum and any advice/opinions will be taken on board. I put a deposit on a 2016 no date submariner last week and will be going to finally see it and possibly collect it depending if I'm happy with everything. I'm based in a small town in Australia so I'm travelling to see this watch. Due to the market in Australia at the moment and limited supply been sold I''m paying a very high premium for this piece, it's from a well recongised second hand dealer. A few things I want to ask:Is it to late to negoitate the final price that was on the website? I quickly rushed into throwing a deposit down because they are selling like hotcakes and didn't want to miss out. Secondly been my first rolex I really wanted to have a complete set, meaning manuals and outer white box/swing tag. Just because it would be nice and something Id like. I believe it only comes with the Green box and warranty papers, Apart of me feels like for the price I'm paying thes
