From the very first clocks to the invention of the quartz crystal, a preoccupation with producing ever more accurate timepieces dominated the history of watchmaking. But after quartz, which is more accurate than any mechanical mechanism, this largely died out. Keeping the tradition going though is the COSC chronometer designation, a mark of stringent accuracy under duress - and in 2012, Tissot's Le Locle Chronometre was pronounced by the Concours International de Chronometrie to be the most accurate mechanical watch of the year. Yachtmaster midsize with blue dial vs. Panerai PAM00081
I have been searching for a Yachtmaster midsize with blue dial (168623) for several months now.However, yesterday I saw a Panerai and I see that some models come with the steel bracelet, which I like. Specifically I like the PAM00081.Two questions:1. Is the steel bracelet an option I can get on any Panerai, or just some?2. Which would look better on a smaller wrist: the Midsize YM or the 40MM PAM00081?
