Oris Great Barrier Reef Diver Limited Edition Watch
This is the new limited edition Oris sub seconds diver made to help out the Great Barrier Reef. Each watch that is sold will have Oris donating 50 Swiss Francs (that's it?) to the Australian Marine Conservation Society (AMCS). Didn't anyone tell Oris they don't use Swiss Francs in Australia! I joke! The money will go to help keep creatures in the Great Barrier Reef alive. Basically, there are a lot of serious issues with the reef and rather than help preserve certain areas, the project is going to relocate animals. A brave endeavor indeed. "Little fish! Sign these papers, you don't live here anymore." Now get out of herewe are gonna take you to a better placeYea, a much better place (chuckle)."The back 0f the watch doesn't have an engraving, but rather a special plate to honor each of the 1000 pieces in the limited edition set. The colors of the watch are done in ocean blue and a high contrasting orange. It makes for a neat look, and a very easy to read dial. You can see for yourself.

You know how some posts build suspense by saying something is incoming but not telling us what it is? And then we guess and guess and guess, with the OP teasing us with little hints?Yeah, I'm lazy and like instant gratification.Say hello to Louis!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Service update on the sticking date issue with my 5127R
Hi guys,I posted here last week that the date on my 5127R had developed the infamous sticking issue. I wanted to update you on this issue. I sent my watch to Henri Stern Agency in NY last week. I received the confirmation by mail in 2 days that my watch safely arrived and I will be contacted asap, once it has been evaluated. I was contacted today (in 3 more days), that Patek will do a complete service of my watch. It usually takes 21 weeks but they will do it in 10 weeks, shortest time possible. Also, even though my watch is 3 months out of the warranty, they will not charge me for it.Kudos to Patek! I am very pleased to say the least! They really do take wonderful care of us collectors, their customers. I feel relieved now. It feel great to collect the brand which is not only making the most pleasing to the eye and most complicated watches in the world, but also provides the best customer service that's out there. Thank you all for your support and thank you Patek! The 10 weeks wait be
