Hotblack Smartwatch Displays Soccer Match Scores On Analog Display
Hotblack London is a new smart watch brand established by British physicist and watchmaker, Richard Hoptroff. Simply called the "Hotblack watch," this analog smart watch?can display either the time and the date, or by the press of a button, the live score and the remaining time of?any ongoing soccer?match of the?owner's choice. Primarily known for his "No. 10"?Atomic Pocket?Watch for Hotblack London, Richard set out to create a wristwatch that is arguably much more wearable and affordable and is inspired?by?one of the greatest sport events of the year, the FIFA World Cup.Held every four years and called the FIFA World Cup, the world soccer championship?is an unstoppable marketing machine that absolutely no one on this planet could?fully ignore. It should come as no surprise then that we see?watch brands come up with new and interesting ways to get a slice of the international attention that surrounds the event. When it comes to the Hotblack smartwatch, the World Cup is relevant because
Rubber strap for 15400 white dial, small wrist question
Hi folk. Had AP itch for ages and hopefully going to scratch it soon... So my aim is for the white dial 15400. I understand this is 41mm and tend to wear large due to the metal bracelets. 6.25 inch wrist here and I would hate to see gaps hanging between my wrist !I've had a chance to try on my cousins roo white diver last month- and being 42mm the rubber strap actually fits / hugs pretty decent ( although small gaps still exist). However I know I can never truly enjoy this diver as a daily wearer due to the height and size of the case. Great casual watch never the less. So my goal is to have white dial 15400 with white rubber strap. Is this doable ?Other thing to bear in mind is that where I live there is no AP AD . So would have to purchase everything though a grey dealer. Not sure how easy it would be to get the parts...etc.P.s. I don't like leather band so much. Rubber for the sporty look!
5165 buy or not?
Hi all, I would like to know what you think about the 5165? Is there a big difference between the 315/293 Caliber and the 324? I think that the 5165 movement is not in-house while the 324 is, can someone tell me where the 315/293 came from if not from Patek and is it a good movement, were there issues with it?Since I will be living in Thailand soon and want a daily beater for sports and swimming do you think it's ok? Can't seem to find the WR on it, one site says 70m, another 100m, does anyone know?I am interested in it because I like the fact that it's not made anymore, there are only 2 on chrono 24, the fact that it's 2mm less doesn't really bother me, I will go see one this week in Paris and see how it fits, it's from 2008 and has been serviced and polished by Patek, so it should look like new, the price is 13.200 but I should be able to get for a little less.Basically I don't care about retaining value as if I get one I probably would keep it a very long time as a daily beater, goi
Has the Panerai bubble burst?
In the last few years Panerai has grown from a cult brand to a mainstream one and now produces so many models and variations, even a hardcore collector and enthusiast such as myself cannot even keep up. I love the little details that Panerai has done from year to year and liked how they produced limited numbers of pieces which were all rather unique in their own right (Panerai 127, 232, 249, 36 etc to name a few). These pieces were sought after because of its availability but also its unique look and history.Fast forward to today and many of the guys I know that used to have every Panerai under the sun including all the different variations have started to dump their collection as too many models started looking alike and Panerai didn't seem to stick to their core models, designs and heritage. When a limited production isn't a limited production anymore is also pretty disturbing for most of the collectors I know, see 448, 424 and 249, 382 and 507. While these are not the same, these we
Watch / clothing combos
Hi guys,From a design standpoint I really like a lot of the rolex sports models e.g. Coke GMT, BLRO, hulk, BLNR etc but it seems like some of these popular models aren't as versatile as say a SS sub/GMT.I usually dress business casual (shirt, chinos, sportscoat) and find I can wear my 114060 with anything, and if I had a Batman it could pair easily enough with a navy sportscoat or blue shirt etc What clothing do you wear with pepsi/coke/hulk which doesn't clash with the colours of the watches? I prefer watches to blend in with clothing so they don't pop out as a statement piece...Looking forward to your replies and perhaps some images to showcase some ideas.
