Hands-On with the Padron Selby
A couple of years ago, we put a piece together about Padron Watch Company, a one-man show out of Minneapolis. Leo Padron, said one-man, welcomed us into his watch making studio, where he designs and assembles his line of affordable and unique watches (yes, he's a watch maker). It's worth a read to learn a bit more about the man and his brand. At the time, he was just finishing up a successful Kickstarter campaign for his Tessera timepieces, one of several such projects. Now, he is currently at the end of yet another successful campaign for an update to the Tessera, named the Selby.What caught my about this watch, all of Padron's watches for that matter, was that it's totally his own vision. His watches are unique and almost bizarre, and while not for everyone, have an undeniable charm. who has an ap diver and a pam 305?
i would see a side by side picture,i had a pam 305 (47mm)and maybe a new target the diver(ceramic?) is 42mm i know, but would be interesting to see those two comparedthanks

Opinions on going from 3 to 2
TRF...I bought a 3 watch set that includes a TTSub Blue, SD43, and YM2 SS...I’m really digging my SD43 as my daily wearer and surprisingly get tons of compliments on it.I really want a PM Rolex but I will not shell out more cash until I can buy one cash with ease.The Sky Dweller Gold on Gold is speaking to me. I love it’s many functions. Since the other two aren’t getting as much wrist time I’m thinking of selling them and getting the 18K Skydwelled...So I’d have my daily wearer in the SD43 and my big timer semi-daily/special event PM watch in the other.Thoughts?

Fedex Shipping Insurance
Not sure if this is the right place for this question, but I recently sold a watch here on the forum, and I went into a Fedex store to ship it. I asked for insurance to cover the value of the watch ($5,000) and was told they only provide coverage up to $1,000. I was somewhat surprised as their website indicated otherwise. I called another Fedex office in another city and was told the same thing.....$1,000. So, I wound up using USPS.Some sellers on here use Fedex insured shipping, so I was just wondering if anyone else has had the same experience.

Looking for wisdom from Rolex owners
Hi guys, I am working on a creative project that talks about how Rolex plays a role in father and son relationship, my personal history with Rolex has been that my father introduced me to the Rolex brand when I was about 16 years old, passed on his GMT to me when I was 25, then I eventually purchased my first Sub at 31 years old. I love Rolex because of the history, the craftsmanship, durability and look, had my father never owned one I would probably never been interested in one.A watch is purchased, gifted, or passed on for many reasons, my question is in regards to Rolex specifically, on a father and son relationship.Why do you feel a Rolex is passed on? If passed on, do you wear it?How has a Rolex played a role in your life when talking about father and son?Thank you so much for the information.
