Finally pulled the ROO 44 RG trigger
I first let my RG ROO 42 go many years ago and had been eyeing the 44 ever since it was released but it just didn't win me over enough to pull the trigger. Then when the new 44 ceramic was out it almost had me but I was set on a RG but loved the black face theme. So finally when the new black face RG surfaced it had me and was exactly what I was waiting for so the search began. I confirmed my decision after trying it on at AP in Beverly Hills and after a few weeks of serious hunting she is arrived. I have had quite a few significant time piece purchases over the years but this is easily my favorite. I want to give a big thank you to Vince at Timepiece Perfection for one of the best buying experiences to date. Thrilled to me a new 44 Novelty member
Omega Adjustable clasp modification/swap
Hi guys!I've been looking online to see whether the sm300's adjustable clasp would fit on any other models... Turns out it does! Planet ocean/speed master and seamaster pro 300! Not seen any mention of this on here so thought I'd see if anyone has done it? How easy was it to get the new clasp? Supposedly you can order them from an Omega Boutique! Not too pricey either at under 100 from what I've read! Here are some links...forums.watchuseek/f20/pla...ge=3&_k=lxqm3gforums.watchuseek/f20/has...9074?_k=8zex9g
My quick trip in Seoul
When your from a place with boutiques that are always sold out of many of their collections, this place got me dizzy 😊😊 sadly I am not at a point where i am looking for my next Patek. Enjoy the pictures this was less than half of what was on display!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Small scratches on pam 510 polished stainless
Anyone have any news on how well Cape Cod polishing cloths work on small polished stainless steel scratches/swirls? Any alternative?
A year on the wrist - a reflection
I've had my Explorer II 16570 that I bought used for about 14 months, now, actually. I've worn it virtually every waking hour - I enjoy wearing it that much. I don't polish it, because the scratches look cool. Crystal and timekeeping are holding up great. What really inspired me to share this sentiment, though, is that I've been looking at prices on this model and it's appreciated. Wearing this watch every day has actually brought more value into my life than I originally invested in it on paper. Every man (or lady!) should experience one - you deserve it! Go Rolex!
