The March 2011 series of disasters in Japan really sucked for them, and it still sucks for them. It was like a triple play of Armageddon leaving even Godzilla offering to help pick up the rubble. Joking aside, much of Japan is in bad shape? - though the country is help together by the people's pride and cultural ability to survive and thrive after disaster strikes.As is the case with most all natural disasters, entities both private and public come to help. Corporations like to hold special events or create special products to aid recovery causes. Are these actions commercially driven? Sure, but it is the thought that counts right. Japan has always been a healthy market for Audemars Piguet and now, about six months after the fact when Japan is still in recovery mode, AP has launched two money raising charity programs. Has AP dealer margin hurt the brand
Hey Guys, Have heard a few Ad's dropping AP from their stores due to AP cutting dealer margins. Do you think this will hurt AP in long run or slow sales? Your thoughts.

Bracelet question re: 50th Ann. GMT & Great White
I see both of these on two different bracelets, the speedy and the other one (don't know what it's called). I was wondering how these came originally, were they available with a choice of bracelet or did people swap on the speedy after the fact, etc.?Also, please enlighten me with the name of the other bracelet. I just received a Speedmaster 145.022 in beautiful condition, bought from Patrick (beerformeplz) right here. I've always wanted one, and this fits the bill perfectly. My first post in the Omega forum, but probably won't be the last.

Incoming - 5711/1R
Finally picked up my 5711/1R and I am absolutely delighted with it. A just beautifully made exquisite piece. The bracelet feels silky, elegant and light and yet rather substantive due to the RG, a perfect balance. The brush finish is delicate and refined while the ever-changing chocolate dial is a delight and matches the RG perfectly. I take pretty good pics usually but boy I have done this watch no justice at all with these pics but anyway hope you enjoy them. Will take more later.
