The Best AP Ever!!!!
As you know I celebrated my 40th birthday this past Friday. My wife threw the most amazing party for me and surprised me with this delicious amazing cake. The watch was actually working and keeping time accurately. The cake was chocolate with a delicious fondant and butter cream layer. My second surprise were some amazing 'Mariachis' singing all my favorite Mexican songs and then the biggest surprise of the night: my wife is taking me to BaselWorld 2013 at the newly renovated exhibition center and staying at the fancy Park Hyatt in Zurich for 7 days. I'll post more pics once we get the whole stock from the photographer that covered the event.
New Watch, Planet Ocean (not yet, research phase)
My primary wearer is a SubC, I'm looking to add a watch that has a rubber strap, and after going through a bunch of brands (IWC, Panerai, Breitling), I think I've come to the conclusion that I want an Omega. The Planet Ocean is my leading contender and there are some decent deals out there. I'm torn between the 43.5 & 45.5 as well as chronograph/no chronograph. The watch won't be daily, maybe 1-2x a week, and used for beach/pool/vacation as well.I like these in no particular order:https://.omegawatches/watches...3232465101005/https://.omegawatches/watches...1532442101001/https://.omegawatches/watches...1533442101001/https://.omegawatches/watches...1532465101001/I think the first one listed is an older model and on the older 9300 movement? I've been doing as much reading as I can, but any Omega experts want to educate me or weigh in with an opinion, it would be much appreciated!Cheers!
Anyone here own the 40th Anniversary of Apollo 11 mission?
I love that watch, anyone here have one?
Sunburst dials are meaningless...
