Introducing Two New Watches From Bremont, The U-2 Blue and The ALT1-B2 (Details & Pricing)
Bremont has announced two new additions to its lineup, the U-2 Blue and the ALT1-B2 (GMT) Chronograph. The former is another colorful chronometer in their staple collection, while the later is a GMT chronograph inspired by a watch designed for elite stealth bomber pilots. 2 OF 4 The Bremont U-2 Blue The U-2 line is an evolution of Bremont's MBI and MBII watches, both of which draw their inspiration from the Martin-Baker fighter jet ejection seats made just down the road from Bremont's UK headquarters. The U-2 takes this foundation and adds another layer of stress testing to meet the requirements of U-2 crews, taking the watches to 100,000 feet and -50 degrees C.The U-2 Blue takes the colored barrel treatment we've seen on the MB watches and adds a complementary dial color to the mix. Long time Rolex Fan boy here, but recently started to get into AP. Been trying out a lot of models. Even a 37mm Diamond Bezel.
AP Diver VS New AP Navy....
...what would be your choice?, I love both but would probobly pick up a used Diver as these can be had for a reasonble price nowadays but the navy is still quite expensive as it is still a new model...I have tried the Diver on many occasions but still have not had the chance to see the new navy IRL so any impressions of the navy would be welcome...DiverNavy
when you notice a piece has been discontinued...
Hi guys. I've been questioning the implications when a piece is being discontinued. Will it more valuable in the future? Is it better to wait for their successor? Having a diacontinued model makes service cowta higher? I am obviously talking about new in box and papers if you happen to stumble upon them and not pre owned. Two references that come to mind, and have forced me ask this question are the 5960p and the 5980 1a. What do you feel when you like a reference and suddenly find out its being discontinued?Thoughts? Thank you guys.
