Royal Oak Full Bracelet?
The RO bracelet is a piece of a jewelry in itself. I wonder if they will ever make it just as a wearable bracelet with the same exact metal design and light reflection, that would be sweet.
comparing two icons
I just had a recent INCOMING, and I thought I would share some thoughts with you on my two Pateks: the 5712 1a and the 5167a.1. The 5712 has more wrist presence, the wider lugs and the tapering of the bracelet makes the watch wear bigger than it really is. The 5167 feels way more sporty and nimble. It is the perfect sports watch in that you don't know that you are wearing it compared to some of the monster watches that have a lot of heft. For this reason it the perfect activity watch as it less likely to get caught on things. Plus the rubber will make it clean up easier. 2. The 5712 does not make as much noise as the 5167. Not hearing the whizz makes me think, are you still working?! However it does take some time to adjust to the 5167 noise, if I was not a member on this forum, I would have been concerned! Warranty Card Pocket Question
OK, I might be the only one that has an issue.Maybe I have baby strength fingers. But does anyone else have issues folding down the warranty pocket on their rolex boxes? When I try to pull them down, it feels like I am about to break them.Someone please correct me if I am assuming that majority of the boxes have this fold down feature.Thanks.
Incoming - Filling out the Hangar (winder)
Hello Chaps, with the great assistance of TempoKing, I finally pulled the trigger on a GMT Master II that I have been chewing on for a year or so since I sold the Explorer II that I Bought from Gagan (another S&G). Great transactions with both and thrilled to have a Rolex back on my wrist. TempoKing even put in my green date wheel gratis. What a guy!!!The build quality of fit and finish of Rolex just puts a smile on my face. I work in aviation and what we can do with metal is just incredible and probably slants my view of manufacturing and metal finishes. I didn't think the Explorer really suited me. But I am loving the GMT and the PSLs. I have many pilot friends with various GMTs and coveted them. No longer! This watch is from the same year as my newborn son and I plan to give it to him when he is older. My grandfather wore a Rolex for many years back in the day and it was one of the you wind versions. My father wore it for a few years but the taking it off to wash your hands thi
