TechnoMarine Appoints Jacques-Philippe Auriol CEO
The Board of TechnoMarine SA has announced the appointment of Jacques-Philippe Auriol as Chief Executive Officer of TechnoMarine SA with immediate effect. Since 2007, Mr. Auriol has been developing consulting business specializing in luxury goods strategy and distribution. Jacques-Philippe Auriol joined Cartier in 1981. During the following years, he took on diverse marketing and commercial positions in France, Italy and Canada. In 1993, he became International Marketing Director of Baume & Mercier in Switzerland, and thereafter CEO of the company. In 2002, Jacques-Philippe became COO of the Watchmaking division of the Richemont Group. Once you go AP, you never go back?
As many of you know, I traded my Daytona for a black-dialed ROC 25860. I've got some other nice watches, but think I may have the AP bug. I'm finding it is harder and harder to grab my other watches off of the winder. Is this a permanent malady or are my other watches safe from flipping? Some times I think I can have my AP and a beater.

Hi all,I recently had a chance to see the white dial bullhead at a boutique and really liked it. The price tag prevented me from buying it but i'm thinking about buying preowned. Any owners out there with feedbacks?

Planet Ocean Chrono Issues
I have seen a few issues with this model. Two had a defective column wheel lever (lever would not engage the column wheel, which impeded the proper functioning of the chronograph) and one had a loose (completely unscrewed) oscillating weight screw. All on new watches, fresh from factory. That whole Toyota thingee got me in the mood to talk about manufacture defects and such.
