Avenir Chrono Boss Premiere Watches
When Avenir Chrono's people were telling me about their new Boss Premiere line of watches (seen here), they mentioned a host of celebrities who were known to wear or own the watches. The funny thing was that I'd never heard of all but one of the people they mentioned. This rather amused me. I was first curious as to what portion of the pop culture demographic they were referring to (later I learned it was mostly people in the hip hop community), and then I was curious as to just how "out of it" I am when it comes to pop culture. Granted, I don't keep up much with the hip hop crowd, and of course less as to what they are wearing. Maybe because they have a reputation for being on distasteful side of "bling" to often (i.e. most of the Jacob & Co. produces). But watches like this Avenir Chrono don't phase me that way. Upgrading RO Dual Time 18k with leather Strap to RO full 18k Perpetual Calendar
Hi all,Need some advice, I currently have a 2010 RO Dual Time 18k Yellow Gold on a leather strap. I am thinking of selling this to purchase a 2012 Perpetual Calendar Yellow Gold (full 18k strap) 25820BA.OO.0944BA.02.Questions are:1) The Perpetual Calendar is going for ?26k - is this a fair price - condition is claimed as mint from the seller.2) What would my watch be worth part ex compared to selling privately?3) If sold privately and listed on Chrono24 how long would it take to sell - I have box, papers and the purchase receipt. The watch has been used regularly so has surface scratches?4) The Perpetual calendar is more complicated so how much should I expect a service from AP to cost? 5) Would you pay an extra ?10 - ?13k and sell a RO dual time to purchase a RO Perpetual Cal?Thank you in advance for all your comments and help.

Best tools for changing straps on ROO Offshore Panda
Hi everyone,I just acquired my first Royal Oak Offshore after a lot of thinking and consideration. I've been meaning to change the straps on it because it came with a short strap which is too short for me. I can't wear the watch properly except on the very last whole which makes the alignment of the deployant on the underside at a very strange location. I got it together with this Grey Hornback from the newer 2014 ROO Grey Theme Elephant, but it does not have a buckle or any tools to change the straps with. The owner told me that I just need to find appropriate screwdrivers for it. I tried using my Panerai Screwdriver (for switching out buckles) but that is too large to fit. Does anyone have any recommendations for screwdrivers that would be able to change the straps of this watch? I see some places that the correct size is 1.4mm but according to research my Panerai Screwdriver is 1.4mm as well, which means it should theoretically work, but it doesn't. .ebay/itm/Bergeon-3008...item4ad3
