Hublot Watches Get The Mr. Brainwash Treatment In Miami
Miami in December - does it get better than this? The locals will agree, but perhaps not during Art Basel, where an estimated 100,000 or more extra people swarm in for the now international art show whose US station is Miami Beach. But I am not at Art Basel right now. I am at Bal Harbor - a ritzy shopping mall on the Northern part of the island where locals go to show off and tourists go to shop. Thierry Guetta (aka Mr. Brainwash) walks up to me with his trademark look that includes a hat and sunglasses. Purple paint has been cleverly, if not meticulously, sprayed to the left lens. His cool-guy black leather jacket is, of course, unscathed by bright colored acrylic paint, but the "I just left the studio" style continues on his jeans, where just enough paint has collected to offer an air of authenticity. Mr. Brainwash is looking very Hollywood today.People argue whether or not Mr. Brainwash is a protg or production of the street artist team known as Banksy, whose initial claim to fame

Trade 116680 & BP/FF For PP 5711/1a
I'm at a crossroad fellas...I have an opportunity to receive my holy grail watch of all times but just don't know if I can take the plunge! My 116680 is absolutely mint and the same for my S/S Blancpain Fifty Fathoms but so is the blue face Patek. I have been collecting Swiss timepieces for almost 25 years and after all this time I still have not had the chance to acquire a PP until now. Any thoughts would surly be grateful on my behalf
Favorite Aquanaut in Category
A thread to discuss the merits of those Aquanauts we like the best.Remember there are no winners and there certainly are no losers.Just a discussion of which Aquanauts we like and why.Pictures are a must whenever possible, remember it's awfully hard to discuss the beauty of something without a picture. From the Patek Phillipe website:Aquanaut The perfect dress sports watchThe Patek Philippe Aquanaut, launched in 1997, is a model of casual elegance that combines technical perfection with uncompromising performance and imaginative creativity in design. Its fascinating appeal originates from a surprisingly modern form with a gently rounded octagonal shape. The surface structure of the superbly finished landmark dial reflects the attractive texture of the strap. The complex construction of the case is underscored by the screw-down crown for extra protection on the wrist of active people. The Tropical strap, made of a high-tech composite, is soft, comfortable, resistant and hypoallergenic.
Incoming! Panerai Luminor Due 3 Days Titanio (PAM00728)
This is a watch I like far more even than I thought I would. I know the Due range is getting a lot of hate from the Panerai hardcore, but I think that's really a shame. It brings something new (smaller, thinner, dressier) to Panerai in my opinion, without losing the essence of the brand. I don't plan to take this anywhere near water, so the limited water resistance (30m), is of no concern to me. I know it can be argued the crown guard is pointless, but it still protects the crown physically, as well as aiding the water/dust resistance somewhat (and it is of course iconic to the Luminor). The movement looks quite nice, and is proving pretty accurate (+4 so far, which is fine by me), and also winds beautifully, probably the best feeling manual wind watch I have (and I have some nice ones). The watch overall is very well finished, not perhaps to the very highest level, but not far off in my opinion. The titanium case is quite thin (just over 10mm, but being a relatively large 42mm in diamet
