Enamel Protocole XXL Watch Collection Furthers Piaget's Obsession With New York And Paris
What started with laser engraving on the side of a watch case is turning into a trend and serious art form for Piaget. Last year they released two watches with such laser engraving; the Piaget Polo Tourbillon relatifs. One was of a Paris skyline, and the other of New York. Each was done with incredible detail and was a shining example of artistic use of the technology. Only a few of each was produced, with pricing in the astronomical region. Now Piaget continues its fascination with the landmarks and skylines of these two cities. Using the Protocole watch rather than the Polo Tourbillon as a palette, Piaget takes a new approach and uses enamel painting all over the face of the watch. This time in full color, and covering each surface of the watch, not just the face. The painting is specially done in enamel over 18k white or yellow gold. It might as well be steel if it is painted over, but this is Piaget and there are expectations!Choosing the Protocole as the base for this highly Limite

My new Connie!
I have always wanted a high precision quartz watch and they don't come much higher than this ( most owners quote real world timing to be somewhere between +5/10 seconds a year and the lower figure being the norm!Thermocompensated and acknowledged to be one of the finest quartz movements ever made...And now it is mine!My AD gave me an offer I simply could not refuse and this watch is stunning in every way and shape, the finish is one of the finest I have seen in a watch, Omega have really pulled the stops out with this one, it is a shame ETA have now discontinued the movement. So here ladies and gentlemen is my Omega constellation double eagle perpetual calendar (what a mouthfull!)In one of the pictures it appears the second hand does not hit the marker, that is an optical illusion as it hits the marker with absolute precision!

Hey guys I want to first say thank you to all that have posted up such informative and helpful information for a newbie like me...I have been reading for weeks and weeks and hours and hours in hopes of making a good decision on my first Patek. The photos alone are enough to get any watch enthusiast wanting a Patek!!This morning I went to look at an Aquanaut 5167...unfortunately this model was on back order. The dealer did have the 5167/1 and it won me over right away thinking down the road I could add the rubber strap to change it up when I wanted. Long story short I traded in my SS Daytona and my SubLV towards the Aquanaut!!!Next week we will complete the transaction, but today has been a roller coaster of emotion hoping I have done the right thing. I still have one Rolex (GMT IIc), Panerai PAM 112, and a Kobold SOA in the stable (others not really worth mentioning). Anyway, the Daytona and Sub were enjoyable but not really keepers in my mind...it just feels strange knowing they will

If you were going to stay with one watch, which one of these classics would you choose?
