EU Probes Watch Manufacturers Over Parts Supply Policies
European Union (EU) antitrust regulators have announced that they will investigate claims that luxury watch manufacturers are refusing to supply spare parts to independent watchmakers and repairers, a breach of EU competition rules. The European Commission did not identify the companies involved in the probe, however Swatch Group has confirmed that it is one of the targets. Reuters quotes Swatch Group spokesperson Beatrice Howald as stating that the investigation “concerns almost the entire watch industry” and that Swatch Group is “confident regarding the outcome of this investigation.” As this story goes to press, Richemont and LVMH have not issued statements.The regulators will investigate a complaint lodged in 2004 by the European Confederation of Watch & Clock Repairers' Associations, or CEAHR. Dropped my Speedy Pro this morning
A pretty rough way to start the morning. I dropped the watch onto tile floor directly on the crystal. The crystal is obviously getting replaced, however the chrono second and minute hand snag on eachother now. The movement is still keeping great time, so I think I got lucky.Whoops!

Hello I have an opportunity to order a Blue 5711-1a-010 and receive it in a few to several months. It will be my fist PP purchase after two Rolex incl a SS Daytona 116520 which is incredible. Can anyone who owns or is familiar with the 5711 give their opinions on it. Fans say that the 5711 is their favorite PP period.? I have seen a video of problems with the clasp opening on its own and if it is as light at the steel aquanaut that raises concerns for me. Thanks
