ROC on a rubber strap?
Has anyone seen this on a rubber strap? Any pictures to share? Been looking for pictures online but couldn't find one. Thanks. IMG_2901.JPG
Breitling artist
The man's name is Kevin T. Kelly. A little bit Andy Warhol, a little bit Roy Lichenstein, a little bit Pat Nagel, a lot of Hong Kong tattoo work. Fun stuff for the office or man cave. Some other works are more risque or gallows, so I won't post here. BUT, I did get curious about his stuff and here is some of it. I thought other Breit enthusiasts might have wondered....Disclaimer for the pre-offended:*No I don't own the rights, nor am I soliciting or otherwise. Planet Ocean 8900 owners out there...
What does it sound and feel like when manual winding the crown in position 1, once you have unscrewed it from the locked position? Even from a complete stop, well before it has been overwound, I hear faint clicks with intermingled with this high-pitched buzzing noise. When I used to have a manual wind speedy pro, I could hear and feel a very regular yet smooth clicking sound, until it came to a full stop. However, on my PO it's a very faint clicking with this weird buzzing. Again, even on the first few winds from a full stop all the way up till I wind it like 50 times. Somehow I still ha ent heard that click of the over-wind protective clutch. Any thoughts on why this is and what it is?? And what does your 8900 sound like??Thanks in advance!! Sell everything....
I love my watches (including my 5070G, 5205R, 1680 Red, Daytona 116520, etc.) but have this crazy idea that has been haunting me since November: Sell everything (or almost everything keeping perhaps a steel Rolex) and acquire a 5970P or 5970G perhaps? What would give you more enjoyment?1. PPPP (another incoming thread!)
Finally the Proud Papa of a Patek Phillipe! Like I said earlier Happy #$% Birthday to me!Just wanted to say a BIG THANKS to all on here who responded to my earlier query and/or PM'd me with recommendations. Thanks to a wonderful referral here on the forum I was able to find and purchase through an AD. The AD very kindly shipped everything in the PP factory sealed packaging. The watch was actually in a separate plastic pouch from the box. But what kinda impressed me was that the box was very carefully wrapped in white tissue paper. The dealer added some Patek Phillipe literature, a nice touch....Yay! Still can't quite believe it. Since I'm GMT-4 I think 4pm local looks quite cool...like it almost forms a perfect triangle of time. So, fun fact (at least to me)...I was admiring my date correction pen/stylus or whatever it's called....(side note, watch had some tool marks around the 3-4 o'clock position of the brushed bezel just kinda visible in this photo...kind of a weird bumm
