Photo Report: Inside The New A. Lange & S?hne Boutique In Costa Mesa, California
Imagine an entire store dedicated to just A. Lange & Söhne timepieces, in a mall near you. The folks in Costa Mesa, California, can now claim to have just that, as Lange has opened up its fourth boutique in the United States inside the well-known South Coast Plaza. The 925 square foot shrine to Saxon watchmaking joins boutiques in Palm Beach, New York, and Miami, representing the West Coast in what is one of the highest income areas, in a mall that is, frankly, unlike many other malls around the world. 1 OF 19 The Lange boutique in Costa Mesa is currently open, and we were there for the grand opening event in late October. All details of the A. Lange & Söhne Boutique in South Coast Plaza may be found below, and enjoy a quick photo report of the beautiful new boutique below.A. It is therefore fair to assume that there will be about a dozen incomings queued up for January 1st onwards. So, what do we think he should do and what are the contenders?
New movement
Any new news on the development of the seemingly long awaited chromo movement? Basel 2017 maybe? (while heavily thinking about pulling the trigger on the existing model, a small voice keeps telling me to hold off till next years unveiling)
What will manufacturers do about exotic straps in CA?
It is currently illegal in CA to import certain animal parts for commercial purposes. But, starting 2015, these animals will include crocodiles or alligators... What will the manufacturers do on their watches that currently carry these type of animals on the straps by the year 2015? A few examples would be AP ROO and their hornback straps... or Panerai and their gator straps. Will manufacturers be forced to put a different kind of straps on these watches when they send them to California? Seems crazy to customize watches to that point just for the state of California. What do you think? Citation: CA PENAL 653o - 653r Citation: West's Ann. Cal. Penal Code 653o - 653r Summary: These California laws relate to the importation of certain animals parts for commercial purposes. Under the law, it is unlawful to import into this state for commercial purposes, to possess with intent to sell, or to sell within the state, the dead body, or any part or product thereof, of any polar bear, le
