ROO Ti with a GP Strap
I just received my new GP strap earlier today, and wanted to show some photos of how it looks on the Titanium ROO. It wears really comfortably, and gives it a different look from the grey rubber strap.
Speedtona
After 13 years of Daytona ownership, I was recently bitten by the Speedy Pro while on vacation. The biggest positive for the Omega over the Rolex (other than price)? One word: LEGIBILITY. The Daytona's highly polished hands and tachymeter bezel are terrible for low light situations they basically turn black and disappear without reorienting the viewing angle. As this picture shows - I've always been a sucker for a balanced subdial layout. The Bucherer dates from about 1974 and I wore it from high school through college.
Clatrava 3802 Real deal?
Guys i followed this auction and was so tempted to bid as the seller states the watch is new with box and paperwork. I contacted him numerous times asking if it was NOS or what ever and if he could post pics of the box and paperwork... no replies. That turned me off to this auction ,was it a wise decision?.ebay/itm/Patek-Philip...p2047675.l2557
316ss to 904L change over
What year did Rolex switch from using 316 to 904L stainless steel? Was this change across all models at that time?I just learned today that some people react to the increase nickel in 904L. I to am allergic to nickel but don't yet own a Rolex. Maybe a vintage piece is for me.
Should I get the 114060 from AD or grey?
Hi experts, need your help here. So here's the thing, grey prices are almost similar to ADs or pricier. 114060 from an AD would cost 10,000 SGD here and a 2013 model from grey market would cost around 9300+ SGD. I was thinking if you add the servicing cost after, it would likely cost the same. I've heard a lot about people saying don't be the first guy to absorb the initial cost from buying new. But does it still apply now? Which option will net me the best deal? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
