Welcome back to an watches-dealer original series, where we discuss important stores that sell watches all over the world. Each store we profile has an interesting story to tell about where they operate and who they sell to. Whether you buy watches from brick and mortar retailers or prefer to buy watches online, these are the stores that help shape our watch culture around the globe. There is a long list of stores to cover, but if there is a retail location in your favorite city that we simply can't miss, let us know in the comments below.Where to buy watches in Boston, Massachusetts? As watch lovers, we often revere the provenance of brands whose history go back hundreds of years or even back to the 1700s. What is unusual is to find a retailer like Shreve, Crump & Low, started in 1796, that is older than the brands they carry (with the exception of Blancpain which originated in 1735 and Vacheron Constantin which originated in 1755).This long history began with watchmaker and silver
Omega "Reverse" Speedy Panda 32105100
A few months ago I was searching high and low for an Omega Speedy Panda. I went in to the Omega boutique here in Beverly Hills just to try one on and to my surprise the watch was not easy to read. (Old man eyes! ) First of all 40mm does not help, then the white background also did not help. Then I saw the reverse Panda, black with white dials and magic! I soon a good deal and now an Omega Speedmaster (32105100) is in the collection.

Valentine's Day rush
We guys know (generalizing here) about last minute present. Yesterday I was walking around trying to find a gift for my wife. My phone suddenly rang and I was engaged into a about 8 minute conversation and somehow wandered as I was still on the phone into a AD. (You know how you walk around while on phone)There was a big crowd there already because of the recent price decrease. I picked up a blue Twenty-Four 4910/10A-012 for my wife. Perhaps the lesser sought after right now of the price drop in terms of counting dollars, the higher value watches seem to fly out the door not to mention the Nautilus and Aquanaut. After this transaction, I nonchalantly asked for a 5167, any of them. She said it may be your lucky day because a new shipment arrived just 30 minutes ago as these have been flying out the doors past few days. She pulled out a 5167-1A-001 and just had to buy a Valentine's Day present for myself too. This would be a good piece alternating between my Daytona 116520 black dia
5980 SS on a Strap
Has anyone tried fitting their 5980 SS watch with a strap? I am curious to know how that went. I am really interested in this piece if the strap was an option with the SS version ala 5726A, be it custom. I like the Rose gold that Patek has out but I am not a rose gold person.
