considering a AP... Opinions for those experienced
OK ive come across a AP ROO Volcano 2010....Now ive been on the look for a AP for a while and the volcano is def not my first choice i have found one for what i think to be a good price ($8500usd)Ive got 3 rolexs,omega and a panerai so i want to step it up... my concern is what is the resale on them if i choose that its not for me? and is there anything that i should look out for specifically?I can see what guys are asking for them on Chrono 24 but i take alot of that with a grain of salt, like anything what people ask and what they get are usually two different things and just because thats what they are asking doesnt mean they are worth it.I have bought watches previously and paid a premium and then decided that im over it and lost a bucket load of money because the market has fallen out on them(Breitling ,Uboat,Oris etc...)Opinions??pic for reference

Snoopy came to visit
After trying to track down a Snoopy for what seems like years, my wish finally came true a couple of days ago thanks to Kringkily. While there's a massive story that spans a few months, I thought I'd kick off the thread with some photos showing the Snoopy with its fellow moonwatch buddies :).

Patek Museum Preview Vol I & II
Has anyone noticed on the Patek Philippe website, that the Museum Preview volumes are available for download in PDF without purchase? Yesterday I was at an AD and the manager showed us a copy and I was just now searching and came across the downloads for them. Very cool stuff.

Are 42mm PAMs discounted more or less than larger (��normal��) sizes?
Hey guys - It's been several years since buying a panerai (have been on a Rolex run), and was considering getting a 42mm submersible but unsure how much of a discount can be had on these - I assume 42mm is less popular and probably has worse resale value, so wondering if I should be able to get more of a discount. I tried one on at a boutique out of state , so could ship without taxes. And while this is a boutique , it is owned and operated by a private jewelry store literally on the other side of the mall. Please be gentle with me ... this is my first post and I don't know if I have posted it in the correct place or whether I should be posting something like this in the first place (even thought I have read the Ts and Cs). Anyway, I digress.....Can anyone suggest a recommendation for a second-hand Rolex please. I have a kitty of ��2,000.I do like the Black Faced Explorer 2 but I realise this is beyond my budget right now.Thanks.
